Susan Lynn Edgard
April 24 1947 - November 13 2016

Susan Edgard, 69, of Spring, Texas passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born April 24, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas to Garrett and Bette Middlebrook.

She is predeceased by her father, Garrett Middlebrook of Fort Worth, Texas.

Susan is survived by her husband, Glenn Edgard, mother, Bette Middlebrook, sister, Luci Clark and her husband Joe, step-mother June Middlebrook, step-sister, Dianna Meaux and husband Bob, and step-brother, Maxx Atherton. Susan is further survived by her son, Jeremy Lynds and wife, Jennifer, and their children Ethan and Harrison; son, Michael Lynds and his daughter, Emma; son, Daniel Lynds and wife, Michelle and their children, Elijah and Therese.

Susan graduated University of Houston in 1969 with an Art Degree and worked as a commercial artist in Houston after graduation. In 1983 she started work at Compaq Computers where she helped established and managed the Compatibility Test Group to verify that Compaq Computers were compatible with the IBM PC.  She loved working at Compaq especially in the early days. In 1996 at age 49, she retired from Compaq as a manager in Systems Engineering..

Susan enjoyed knitting, quilting, spending time with her family, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, Molly the dog, and shopping with her Granddaughter. Her favorite holiday was Halloween where she enjoyed giving Glow Sticks to the trick or treaters and stuffed annimals to the babies.

She was a life long member of the Episcopal Church and currently attended St. Dunstan's Espiscopal Church.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 22 at 1:00 PM at:

St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church,14301 Stuebner Airline, Houston, Texas 77069.
